About The Position
The Aloft Seattle Sea-Tac Airport is looking to hire a Bartender. This role is responsible for preparing and providing food and beverages, including beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The ideal candidate will be a great addition to the team, offering competitive benefits and pay.
Requirements
- Must have a current food handlers permit.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Must be able to work weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Previous restaurant service experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Preparing and providing food and beverages, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Pouring and serving beer and wine.
- Following safe food handling and service practices at all times.
- Greeting, engaging, and serving guests seated at the bar.
- Clearing and cleaning tables as they are vacated.
- Wiping up spills.
- Keeping the bar area cleaned and well stocked.
- Restocking items consistently throughout shift.
- Assisting server and other Front of House staff with beverage orders.
- Listening and responding to guests' requests and complaints.
