About The Position
The Lawn at The Cove Salem is a new outdoor beer and wine venue featuring live music, comedy nights, private events, and seasonal activations. We're looking for an energetic, personable bartender to join our team on a part-time, on-call basis, with weekend availability required. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and enjoys creating memorable experiences.
Requirements
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of craft beer, wine, and beverage service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability is required
- TIPS certification (or ability to obtain) preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve craft beer, wine, and specialty beverages
- Deliver exceptional guest service with a friendly, engaging attitude
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Verify guest IDs and follow all alcohol service regulations
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and execution of concerts, comedy shows, and private events
- Work collaboratively with the operations and event teams to ensure seamless service
