About The Position
This position is responsible for receiving and preparing beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers. The Bartender will mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, operate a cash register, and maintain the cleanliness of the bar area. This role also involves greeting and communicating with guests in a friendly manner, preparing requisitions for bar stock, and maintaining the ice supply.
Requirements
- Ability to mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Ability to operate a cash register and complete transactions accurately.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness of the bar area.
- Ability to greet and communicate with guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Ability to prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
- Ability to maintain and replenish ice supply.
Responsibilities
- Receive and prepare beverage orders from customers and cocktail servers.
- Mix alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to memorized standard beverage recipes.
- Serve beverages, using repetitive motions, in accordance with established service procedures.
- Operate cash register, complete transactions according to procedures, and maintain accurate bank.
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area by removing used glasses, napkins, emptying ashtrays, and wiping bar top.
- Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
- Prepare written requisitions and orders for bar stock.
- Maintain and replenish ice supply.
