About The Position

Requirements

• Must be at least 21-years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain valid gaming license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain responsible alcohol service certification.
• Ability to work in a team environment and under stress as the volume of business increases.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 to 12- hour shifts.
• Must be physically mobile with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. (liquor stock, beer cases/kegs).
• Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items, bend, stoop and twist while preparing drinks.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, secondhand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, lightening, vibration, crowds and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Regular and punctual attendance is required.
• Must be able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as necessary.
• These skills and abilities are typically acquired through at least one year experience of high volume bartending experience directly related to the accountabilities specified

Responsibilities

• Maintains and ensures checklist to completion including but not limited to opening and closing procedures.
• Provides prompt, courteous beverage service to all guest.
• Provides personalized service and uses guest name.
• Maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
• Serve wine, and bottled or draft beer.
• Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar and bitters, to prepare cocktails and other drinks.
• Adhere to company policy by measuring all drinks using either the Berg system or a Jigger.
• Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol.
• Participates in liquor pull ensuring compliance with all Missouri Gaming Commission regulations.
• Adhere to rules pertaining to Caesars Rewards card membership while working in Lounge.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol by providing responsible alcohol service.
• Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment.
• Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays.
• Cleans bars, work areas and tables.
• Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.
• Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amounts into the register.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
