About The Position
Big Sun Solar is a Texas based commercial solar developer helping businesses reduce energy costs and meet their sustainability goals. The company designs and installs high performance solar systems for manufacturers, nonprofits, and large facilities across the state. Trusted by organizations such as CPS Energy, the City of San Antonio, and leading manufacturers, Big Sun Solar delivers reliable energy solutions built for long term impact. We are seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to support the accounting team with daily financial operations and analytical projects. This role provides hands -on experience with NetSuite ERP, accounts payable processes, financial close procedures, sales tax analysis, and project cost modeling. The intern will gain practical exposure to accounting functions and financial systems while contributing to meaningful projects that support business operations.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and problem -solving skills
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
- Detail -oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
