About The Position

The Zone Lead (ZL) reports to the Assistant Store Manager and supports merchandising in designated zones while maintaining an active selling culture. The role ensures visual aspects are set and maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The ZL provides expertise in visual standards, merchandising techniques, fixturing, and implementation of in-store marketing elements—including signs, vignettes, endcaps, tables, and first look/flash finds—that reinforce seasons, holidays, and promotions. The Zone Lead influences Team Members to understand visual merchandising and standards while demonstrating ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. The work involves vigorous lifting, carrying, moving around a warehouse-format store, and stocking. The ZL helps plan and lead transitions, reinventions, product assortment changes, and resets with the Assistant Store Manager, preserving visual integrity and an organized environment that inspires guests. The position plans and executes delegated daily and weekly tasks, participates in freight processes, sorts and stocks product, and maintains designated zones. It also supports customer satisfaction, inventory control and shrink, safety, loss prevention, expense control, and the customer experience. The Zone Lead coaches and trains Team Members on visual priorities, reviews store scorecard information and acts to improve assigned-zone metrics, and keeps zones clean, organized, and current with signage and sets. Open availability is required, including nights and weekends.
