About The Position

This position leads, motivates, trains, and supports warehouse personnel to ensure efficient shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution, while protecting warehouse contents against loss. The supervisor oversees general warehouse operations, schedules inbound and outbound arrivals, monitors work on the dock, and applies company policies and procedures. The role may also perform warehouse duties as needed, including loading, unloading, furniture deluxing, and minor repairs. The position manages inventory valued at more than $2.5 million and may supervise up to 3–10 employees. Weekly hours are 40, and travel may be up to 5%.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Understanding of safe methods and procedures for receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping, and delivery.
Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to meet the company’s Driver Management Program qualifications if travel or driving is required for the role.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse duties as needed to meet objectives and goals.
Use production tools to measure employee productivity.
