Z-Dock Supervisor
About The Position
The Z-Dock Supervisor leads, motivates, trains, and supports warehouse personnel to ensure that shipping, receiving, storage, and distribution are completed efficiently and warehouse contents are protected against loss. The position supervises general warehouse operations, coordinates inbound and outbound arrivals, and maintains an active presence on the dock to inspect work in progress. The supervisor may perform any warehouse duties needed to meet objectives, including unloading, loading, deluxing, and minor furniture repairs. The role manages inventory valued at more than $2.5 million and uses production tools to measure employee productivity. It supervises up to 3–10 employees and requires up to 5% travel. Weekly hours are 40.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with 4–6 years of relevant experience, or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisition, shipping, and delivery methods and procedures.
- Basic knowledge of inventory procedures.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Up to 5% travel.
- Ability to meet the company’s Driver Management Program qualifications if the role requires travel or driving.

- Furniture repair and home delivery experience.
Responsibilities

- Perform warehouse duties as needed to ensure objectives and goals are met.
- Manage inventory valued at more than $2.5 million.
