About The Position

Greater IMPACT Church is a Christ-centered, digital-first ministry focused on sharing the love, truth, and transforming power of Jesus Christ. With a global digital reach and expanding local initiatives, we use modern media, digital production, and Sunday broadcasts to connect with people. We are looking for enthusiastic and welcoming YouTube Campus Hosts to lead our official YouTube live chat and foster a vibrant broadcast community. The YouTube Campus Host & Moderator will be the primary voice representing Greater IMPACT Church in the YouTube Live chat during Sunday service broadcasts and Premieres. This role is crucial as YouTube is often the initial point of contact for seekers and newcomers. By transforming a passive viewing experience into an interactive, faith-building community, the host will welcome viewers, share important ministry links and announcements, emphasize key sermon points, respond to viewer questions, and moderate comments to maintain an uplifting and spiritually edifying environment.

Requirements

• Familiarity with YouTube Live features (live chat, Super Chats/Stickers, pinning comments, moderating users, channel formatting).
• A positive and encouraging tone, passionate about digital evangelism with an uplifting, conversational, and gracious tone of voice.
• A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to embodying the love and grace of the Gospel in digital public squares.
• Reliable computer or tablet with high-speed internet access.
• Availability during Sunday morning service broadcast hours (approximately 9:45 AM – 11:30 AM EST).

Responsibilities

• Be present in the YouTube Live stream chat 15 minutes before broadcast begins (9:45 AM EST) through post-service sign-off.
• Greet viewers by name as they log on, ask thought-provoking discussion questions aligned with the sermon, and encourage active commenting, likes, and shares.
• Pin and drop timely links to the digital Connection Card, sermon notes, online giving, prayer request forms, and website next steps.
• Encourage new viewers to subscribe to the channel, click the notification bell, and invite friends and family to join future broadcasts.
• Act as an authorized channel moderator—monitoring live chat and comments to hide spam, delete inappropriate or derogatory remarks, and ensure a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
• Spend 15–20 minutes during the week checking recent video comments to reply with encouragement and answer basic church questions.
