About The Position
Soccer Stars is seeking enthusiastic educators and childcare professionals to join their team as Youth Soccer Coaches. This role is ideal for individuals who love working with children and want a job that involves physical activity and outdoor learning. Soccer Stars provides engaging soccer classes, camps, and clinics for children aged 12 months to 13 years across Long Island and Eastern Queens. The program focuses on developing children's confidence, teamwork, listening skills, social development, and a love for physical activity through movement, play, and positive reinforcement. In addition to soccer, opportunities exist in multisport and martial arts programs.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel to local schools, parks, and community locations throughout Long Island
- Ability to successfully complete a background check
- A passion for working with young children—especially ages 1–5—is essential.

Responsibilities
- Arrive prepared and on time for every class
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer activities
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment
- Build confidence through positive reinforcement and individualized instruction
- Help children develop teamwork, communication, coordination, and sportsmanship
- Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and fellow coaches
- Participate in ongoing training while following the Soccer Stars Coaching Curriculum
