About The Position

Soccer Shots is an engaging children’s soccer program for ages 18 months to 8 years old. We provide an age-appropriate curriculum focused on skill development, character building and fun themes to help coaches teach young children the wonderful sport of soccer. Our goal is simple: To leave a lasting, positive impact on every child, and family, we serve! We are seeking dependable coaches to lead 30–45 minute sessions at local preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers. You’ll laugh, you’ll break a sweat, and you’ll go home knowing that you made a difference. Coaching children will be one of the most rewarding jobs you'll ever do!

Requirements

Passion for positively impacting children’s lives through the love of sports and fitness.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must be able to pass a background check.
Valid driver’s license and access to personal vehicle that is insured OR reliable transportation (travel required between sites).
Availability during Summer and Fall Seasons within the following timeframes: Weekday mornings (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM), Weekday afternoons (2:00 PM – 5:30 PM), Weekend mornings (8:30 AM – 12:00 PM).

Nice To Haves

Prior soccer experience is not required, however experience working with children ages 18 months to 8 years old is preferred.
Coaching at least 2 complete seasons is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead 30-45 minute soccer sessions for children aged 18 months to 8 years old.
Teach soccer skills, character building, and use fun themes.
Travel between various sites including preschools, elementary schools, parks, and community centers.
Ensure sessions are fun, themed, and follow a structured seasonal schedule.
Be a reliable and consistent coach throughout the 8-12 week seasonal schedule.
