About The Position

The Youth Ministry Associate Director leads and oversees Club Beyond, Young Life Military’s ecumenically focused and outreach-oriented program, at a U.S. military installation. The role builds relationships with military teens, adults, families, the local community, installation personnel, and chapel communities. Through incarnational ministry, the staff member helps create a safe, Christ-centered community where teens can develop friendships, hope, resilience, and a sense of belonging and purpose. The position serves middle and high school students through community outreach to teens who are not church-connected, discipleship for Christian teens, and hands-on youth programs supported by trained volunteers. Staff are expected to respect and embrace military culture and work effectively amid frequent turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers. The staff member must live near the community where they will conduct ministry and be willing to make a three-year commitment. Part of the budget is raised through personal support. Salary is based on experience, responsibility, and fundraising levels.
