About The Position

Club Beyond provides incarnational, outreach-oriented youth ministry to teens in military communities. Military teens often relocate repeatedly during their school years, making identity, belonging, and forming friendships especially challenging. Staff walk alongside teens and create a safe, Christ-centered community where they can build connections, experience hope, and develop resiliency. The Youth Ministry Director will lead and oversee the Young Life Military program, known as Club Beyond, at a military installation. The role involves building relationships with teens, adults, families, the local community, military installation, and chapel community; developing outreach and discipleship programs; and equipping volunteers to lead middle- and high-school youth programs. Staff must live near the community where they serve and be comfortable working in a military culture with frequent turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers. The ministry emphasizes an exclusively military focus, incarnational methods, an ecumenical perspective, strategic partnerships, professionalism, and excellent stewardship. The organization has openings at military installations in the United States and internationally. Colorado Springs, Colorado, is its headquarters. Full-time salary depends on experience, responsibility, and fundraising levels, with a stated base salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 and a location-dependent cost-of-living adjustment. Annual national funding of $16,667 is also provided.
