Youth Ministry Director at Fort Bliss, Texas

Young Life•Fort Bliss, TX

About The Position

Club Beyond provides outreach-oriented, ecumenical youth ministry to teenagers from active-duty military families, whose frequent moves can make it difficult to establish identity, belonging, and lasting friendships. Staff live near the communities they serve, build relationships with teens and adults, and create a safe, Christ-centered community where military teens can develop friendships, hope, and resilience. The Youth Ministry Director leads and oversees the Young Life Military program, known as Club Beyond, at a military installation. The role includes community outreach to teens who are not involved in church, discipleship for Christian teens, and equipping volunteers to lead middle- and high-school youth programs. Staff are expected to embrace military culture and adapt to frequent turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers. A three-year commitment and willingness to raise part of the budget through personal support are expected.
