About The Position

Maple Lake Academy is seeking energetic and compassionate individuals for a Staff Mentor role to support teenage boys with Autism. This position involves providing support in a structured, supportive, and growth-focused school and community environment. The role offers the opportunity to mentor, model, and make a real impact on students' lives, assisting them in their academic and personal development, including life skills and social skills. The academy values progress, connection, and individualized growth, and offers flexible or set shifts.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be 21 years or older (to be able to drive company vehicles).
• Acceptable Driving Record.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check upon accepting an offer.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support during school hours.
• Provide structured support during non-school hours.
• Build meaningful connections with students.
• Collaborate with a strong, caring team.
• Help guide students in their academic and personal development with life skills and social skills.
