Youth Fitness & Sports Teacher
About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly, energetic individuals to teach beginner-level physical education and sports activities to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. The part-time, in-person role offers a flexible schedule of approximately 2–5 hours per week, with classes lasting 1–1.5 hours. Work is scheduled Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 5:00 PM; weekend opportunities may be available. The position may offer opportunities to coach additional sports and grow into a Lead Coach role. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Must be 19 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Enjoys working with children.
- Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Able to complete a background check.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
Nice To Haves
- Sports playing or coaching experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun and engaging PE and sports activities.
- Manage groups of 8–10 children.
- Set up equipment and take attendance.
- Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
- Communicate with parents and school staff.
