About The Position

KidStrong Edina is hiring energetic, outgoing coaches to deliver a science-based curriculum focused on children's physical, cognitive, and character development. Coaches lead classes for children from crawling through age 11, helping them build skills, confidence, character, and problem-solving abilities. Personal training or professional sports coaching experience is not required; training in the KidStrong curriculum is provided. The role suits people with strong communication skills, reliability, positive energy, and a genuine interest in making an impact on children.

This is a part-time position, primarily scheduled on weekday evenings from approximately 4:00–7:30 PM and weekend mornings from approximately 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Additional hours may be available through camps, birthday parties, Parents' Night Out events, community events, and school-break programming. The position pays $20 per hour and includes paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement.

Requirements

• Love working with children.
• Bring positive energy and be willing to be enthusiastic, playful, or loud.
• Be comfortable leading groups and speaking in front of children and adults.
• Be dependable and ready to give your best.
• Communicate well with parents and teammates.
• Be open to feedback and excited to grow as a coach.
• Be able to obtain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Enjoy sports, fitness, teaching, coaching, performing, or working with children.
• Experience in youth sports, education, childcare, camps, gymnastics, dance, fitness, theater, recreation, or coaching.
