About The Position

Adelphoi is hiring youth counselors for their group homes in Cogan Station, PA. This role involves supervising and mentoring young individuals, implementing treatment plans, and contributing to meaningful solutions. The position offers opportunities for learning, growth, and advancement in the counseling and juvenile justice fields. The schedule is a 4-week rotating shift that includes day, afternoon, and weekend shifts.

Requirements

• Ability to safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200+ pounds, using approved techniques.
• Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.
• Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention / restraint training.
• Pass any required physical abilities assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.
• Maintain safety and order using approved crisis‑prevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.
• Participate in de‑escalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.
• Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.
