Summer Job for Teachers – Youth Baseball Camp Instructor ($25/hr) | Orinda
About The Position
San Francisco Giants Baseball & Softball Camps is hiring educators to work with campers ages 4–13 at Wagner Ranch Elementary School. Teachers guide campers through baseball and softball activities while helping them develop confidence and teamwork. As a Giants Baseball & Softball Camps Educator, you will guide campers through daily baseball and softball activities that combine skill instruction with mentorship and character development. You will work closely with Site Directors and fellow staff members to ensure campers have a safe, engaging, and memorable camp experience.
Requirements
- Experience working with children ages 4–13
- Comfortable demonstrating baseball or softball fundamentals
- Enjoy teaching and mentoring young students
- Bring positive energy and enthusiasm
- Communicate well with children and staff
- Demonstrate reliability and professionalism
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a background screening
- At least 1 school year of paid teaching experience, OR Provide proof of teaching certification
