About The Position
Beloit Health System is seeking a Youth Apprenticeship - Certified Nursing Assistant to join their team. This Per Diem position is located in Beloit, WI, and offers various shifts and flexible scheduling. The apprentice will support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to patient care. Responsibilities include applying infection prevention controls, standard precautions, and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. The role involves assisting with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a RN or physician, aiding patients with activities of daily living, providing personal care, offering emotional support, and performing clinical skills as directed by a RN.
Requirements
- Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older.
- Current WI CNA.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful.
Responsibilities
