About The Position

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is hiring a year-round intern for its Stress Testing & Liquidity Risk Management team. This 12-month internship runs from January through December 2027 and is based in Chicago or Dallas in a hybrid work environment. Interns may work up to 20 hours per week during the school year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer, with a 1,000-hour maximum. Overtime is not permitted. The team manages Clearing Member risk through stress testing that evaluates credit and liquidity exposures under different scenarios. It develops reporting and analytics using large datasets and tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, and Python or R, and distributes daily and monthly reporting within OCC and to Clearing Members. The intern will help enhance and organize analytical tools and fulfill reporting obligations. OCC's Hybrid Work Program generally requires employees to work from an OCC office at least three days each week. Tuesday and Wednesday are anchor days when employees are expected to be in the office. Employees meeting performance expectations are generally permitted to work remotely two other days per week. Remote work is generally expected to take place in the employee's state of residence, and working while traveling internationally is generally not permitted. Interns and seasonal interns are eligible only for paid sick leave accrued based on hours worked; no other benefits, including the technology stipend, apply. The stated salary is $25.00 per hour. The position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award; any award is not guaranteed.
