About The Position
National Star Services, a 27-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is seeking a Metal Recycling Sorter in Chicago, Illinois (60612). The role supports recycling operations by physically handling and sorting materials such as aluminum, copper, and brass. Workers keep the work area clean and collaborate with a team. Training is provided. The position involves standing for long periods, lifting, and following safety procedures. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $17.05 per hour, paid biweekly.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Must wear steel-toe boots.
- Must have two valid forms of ID to apply.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
