About The Position
National Star Services, a facility management company, is hiring a Metal Recycling Sorter in Chicago, Illinois (60612). The role supports recycling operations by handling and sorting aluminum, copper, and brass, keeping the work area clean, and working as part of a team. The work involves standing for extended periods, lifting, and following safety procedures. Training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $17.05 per hour, paid biweekly.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Reliable transportation to work.
- Must wear steel-toe boots.
- Must provide two valid forms of ID when applying.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift.
