About The Position

The Yard Technician is responsible for moving, cleaning, and making minor repairs to rental equipment. The position includes moving machines around the yard, loading and unloading equipment, keeping the yard free of debris, cleaning equipment in a wash pit using high-pressure cleaning equipment, and moving and organizing work tool inventory. The job is physically demanding and requires repeated bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing on and off equipment, and handling items weighing up to 70 pounds. Duties may also include similar tasks assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Ability to repeatedly stoop, kneel, bend, and climb up and down from equipment.
• Ability to routinely lift and handle items weighing up to 70 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous machinery experience is preferred but not required.
• PC exposure is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Move machines around the yard and load and unload equipment.
• Keep the yard free of debris.
• Perform minor repairs to rental equipment.
• Clean equipment in the wash pit using high-pressure cleaning equipment.
