About The Position
A Yard Loader is responsible for safely and accurately loading and unloading deliveries made and received by ADS. The role requires safe and proper vehicle operation and interaction with company and non-company drivers, as well as will-call customers, while providing excellent customer service. The position requires flexibility to work 40 or more hours per week and weekends as required. Yard Loaders report directly to the Yard Supervisor and/or Yard Manager.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Basic inventory management skills.
- Forklift operation skills.

- Previous warehouse, industrial, or manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities
- Promote a culture of safety by promptly communicating unsafe conditions, acts, or injuries.
- Maintain a safe working environment, including consistent use of personal protective equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts and conduct preventative maintenance on forklifts and other plant machines.
- Conduct final visual inspections and label finished goods to ensure quality.
- Provide good customer service when loading and unloading deliveries while minimizing errors.
- Ensure proper product rotation and track inventory levels.
- Learn and stay current on pipe specifications and packaging requirements.
- Practice continuous improvement in process and facility housekeeping.
- Build and maintain job skills and additional earning potential through company training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
