About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Yard Loader Operator in its Aggregates line of business. The operator transports materials efficiently and safely using a yard loader, performs routine equipment maintenance and safety checks, and assists with loading and unloading materials. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and company policies, effective communication with team members and supervisors, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Work takes place primarily around moving mechanical equipment and may involve inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds and standing, walking, and climbing for extended periods. Successful candidates must complete a post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check. Some positions also require ongoing FMCSA-regulated drug and alcohol testing.
