About The Position

The Yard Hostler maneuvers trucks within terminal and warehouse yards and operates a terminal tractor (yard dog) to move semi-trailers within cargo and warehouse yards and between warehouse locations. The role includes docking, assisting with loading and unloading, inspecting trailers and their contents, managing equipment, and safely maneuvering trailers.

Requirements

• Possess a Class A CDL with 18 months of over-the-road experience.
• Hold a Class A CDL that permits driving both manual and automatic trucks; an automatic-only restriction is not acceptable.
• Have a clear driving record.
• Pass a background check, drug screen, and DOT physical.
• Be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, with reasonable accommodations where applicable.

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience with refrigerated freight.
