About The Position
Aegis Chemical Solutions is looking for a hardworking, safety-minded Yard Helper to join our Operations team! At Aegis, safety comes first, teamwork drives our success, and every employee plays an important role in keeping our operations running strong.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to safely and effectively perform the essential functions of the position, including understanding written and verbal instructions, policies, procedures, and job-related communications.
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Nice To Haves
- Previous warehouse, yard, or industrial experience.
- Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment.
- Familiarity with equipment maintenance and industrial safety practices.
Responsibilities
- Keep our yard, warehouse, and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials and supplies.
- Operate forklifts, pumps, mixers, and other equipment as trained and authorized.
- Support general maintenance, equipment cleaning, and daily operations.
- Follow established safety procedures, wear required PPE, and actively identify and report potential hazards.
