About The Position

Aegis Chemical Solutions is seeking a hardworking, safety-minded Yard Helper to support its Operations team in Kilgore, Texas. The role helps keep the yard, warehouse, and equipment clean, safe, and organized; assists with materials handling; and supports general maintenance and daily operations. The employee must follow safety procedures, wear required personal protective equipment, and identify and report potential hazards. The job involves outdoor work in varying weather conditions and lifting at least 50 pounds.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English sufficiently to perform essential job functions safely and effectively, including understanding instructions, policies, procedures, and job-related communications.
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a team-first attitude.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse, yard, or industrial experience.
Experience operating forklifts or material-handling equipment.
Familiarity with equipment maintenance and industrial safety practices.

Responsibilities

Keep the yard, warehouse, and equipment clean, safe, and organized.
Assist with loading, unloading, and handling materials and supplies.
Operate forklifts, pumps, mixers, and other equipment when trained and authorized.
Support general maintenance, equipment cleaning, and daily operations.
Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Identify and report potential hazards.
