About The Position

Ring's End, Inc. is hiring a full-time Forklift Operator / Yard Helper to support lumberyard operations in the Branford, Connecticut area. The role involves loading and unloading building materials, assisting customers, moving and organizing materials, and operating and maintaining equipment. The operator follows safety protocols and helps with other lumberyard needs as required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload building materials using lumberyard machines and equipment.
• Maintain machines and equipment used in the lumberyard.
• Assist customers with inquiries and discuss products and issues.
• Help customers find and identify materials and load them into vehicles.
• Read receipt tickets.
• Move materials throughout the lumberyard.
• Operate machinery such as forklifts, saws, or trucks.
• Keep building materials organized.
• Follow all safety protocols.
• Assist with other tasks as needed.
