About The Position

As a Yard Hand / Parts Runner, you will serve as a vital logistics link between construction sites, vendors, and the company’s central shop or yard. Your primary responsibility is ensuring field crews have the necessary tools, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules, while also maintaining a clean and organized base of operations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Prior construction tools/material experience
Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens
Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify
Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results
Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card

Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to pick up parts, tools, equipment, and materials from vendors and deliver them to active job sites.
Organizing inventory in the yard, maintaining cleanliness, and sometimes operating forklifts.
Load and unload trucks and trailers, including securing loads properly for transport.
Keeping company trucks and vehicles clean and organized, often using power washers.
Assist with receiving, tracking, and staging inventory, as well as performing inventory counts and returning unused materials to vendors.
Assist mechanics and foremen in moving heavy equipment, preparing job sites, and performing general labor tasks as required.
Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership
