About The Position

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, our full-time Yard Hand position supports the service team. This role is based in Fairbanks, Alaska, within a brand-new, state-of-the-art building designed for optimal workspace conditions. The position involves supporting the service team with various duties to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements

Able to work 40+ hrs per week.
Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Able to lift at least 40 pounds on a regular basis
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Bending, lifting, and pushing will also be required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
Great communication and time management skills.
2 or more years of sales experience

Responsibilities

Greet and interact with customers.
Consults with customers to understand their needs and preferences related to equipment.
Loading and unloading trucks, trailers and shipments
Moving equipment/materials in and out of shop
Keeping yard, shop, and parts inventory clean and organized
Completing local parts runs and deliveries
Assisting with rental equipment
Pressure washing
General maintenance activities including snow removal, sanding and cleaning as needed
Trailer and truck washes
Assist with inventory control
Other duties as assigned.
