About The Position

This entry-level skilled general labor position is responsible for coordinating trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard while maintaining a safe work environment and following Tyson policies and procedures. The operator maintains a log of product loads, reports trailer problems to the supervisor and truck shop, and performs other duties assigned by the Manager. The role requires a licensed driver, the ability to read invoices, packing slips, and material records, and the skills needed to complete Tyson paperwork. Candidates must be able and willing to complete required training and work on their feet for up to 12 hours. Computer experience is preferred. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Pay is $20.40 per hour plus a $2.00 attendance incentive. The location does not consider rehires, and internal candidates will be considered first.

Requirements

• Must be a licensed driver.
• Must have at least 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
• Must be able and willing to work on their feet for a period of 12 hours.
• Must be able and willing to complete all required training for the job.
• Must be able to read invoices, packing slips, and records of materials.
• Must possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
• Must be able and willing to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

• 3 months of operator experience preferred.
• Computer experience preferred.
• Legible handwriting.

Responsibilities
