About The Position
As a Coolant Technician you will be responsible for maintenance and upkeep of the coolant recovery system, CNC machines coolant tank and PM schedules. Must be a self-starter, a good manager of time, work independently and follow company policy standards for safety and conduct.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
- Prior experience with power and hand tools
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance
Responsibilities
- Maintain coolant recovery system, Smart Skim unit.
- Monitor coolant percentages in the Smart Skim and CNC equipment.
- Maintain CNC machine coolant tanks and repair coolant pumps.
- Sump and clean coolant tanks
- Maintain hydraulic systems.
- Maintain filter bag by cleaning and replacing filter as required.
- Help with general clean up.
- Assist in additional tasks as directed by maintenance team.
- Perform PM scheduled tasks.
- Safely driving a forklift with light loads at ground level.
- Ensure that all safety requirements are always followed.
