About The Position

This position performs entry-level skilled general labor in a safe work environment while following Tyson policies and procedures. The operator coordinates trailer and tanker traffic in the receiving yard, maintains a log of product loads, and reports trailer problems to the supervisor and truck shop. Other duties may be assigned by the Manager. The position requires a licensed driver who can work on their feet for extended periods, complete required training, and perform the physical tasks described in the posting. Work may involve exposure to hot or cold temperatures and wet, humid, or dusty conditions.

Requirements

Have at least 3 months of work history with one employer listed on the application.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Have legible handwriting.
Be able and willing to work on their feet for up to 12 hours.
Be able and willing to complete all required job training.
Be able to read invoices, packing slips, and records of materials.
Possess skills to complete Tyson paperwork.
Be able to walk, bend, stand, and frequently lift up to 70 pounds.
Be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

At least 3 months of operator experience is preferred.
Computer experience is preferred.
