About The Position

FOX Factory is hiring a Maintenance Technician, identified in the position summary as a Coolant Technician. The role is responsible for maintaining the coolant recovery system, CNC machine coolant tanks, and preventive maintenance schedules. The technician is expected to be self-directed, manage time effectively, work independently, and follow company safety and conduct standards.

The position is listed as Monday through Friday, 8:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. The work environment includes indoor and outdoor work and may involve wet, humid, dusty, dirty, noisy, high-vibration, uneven, and elevated areas, as well as mechanical, chemical, electrical, and possible biological hazards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet demanding deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as a team member to accomplish objectives.
• Prior experience with power and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the coolant recovery system and Smart Skim unit.
• Monitor coolant percentages in the Smart Skim system and CNC equipment.
• Maintain CNC machine coolant tanks and repair coolant pumps.
• Sump and clean coolant tanks.
• Maintain hydraulic systems.
• Clean and replace filter bags as required.
• Help with general cleanup.
• Assist with additional tasks as directed by the maintenance team.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks.
• Safely operate a forklift with light loads at ground level.
• Ensure that all safety requirements are followed at all times.
