About The Position

This position is responsible for operating trucks and moving trailers in and out of loading areas while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Team member must follow all safety rules and regulations. Team member will be required to use all safety devices such as dock locks/wheel checks/jack stands. Team member must be willing to ensure trailers are sealed. Team member will be responsible for the inventory of trailers. Team member will be required to do routine temperature checks of trailers and product.

Requirements

• Must have current valid driver’s license which is not suspended, revoked or cancelled.
• 6 months continuous work history with single employer in the past 12 months.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Notify supervisor of any mechanical problems
• Being physically able to perform lifting task
• Will have to move trailers for fresh and frozen docks as needed
• Perform other duties assigned by supervisor
• Ensure trailers are sealed
• Inventory of trailers
• Routine temperature checks of trailers and product
