About The Position

The Yard Coordinator works with multiple departments to ensure customers receive quality service for equipment rentals, purchases of new and used equipment, and service drop-offs. The role involves operating and inspecting machines, performing minor repairs and maintenance, organizing and maintaining equipment displays and storage areas, serving customers, conducting inventory counts, and preparing and cleaning equipment. The position requires occasional travel for training or to assist at other locations. Work is performed both outdoors and indoors, with most time spent in an outdoor yard environment; indoor work may take place in warehouse areas that are not climate-controlled.

Requirements

• Basic maintenance experience with various types of equipment.
• Familiarity and working knowledge of equipment usage and operation.
• Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to drive and a valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform the essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodation, including the physical activities and visual abilities described in the posting.
• Ability to work with and around heavy equipment and operate tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Successful completion of applicable post-offer, pre-employment screening, which may include drug and alcohol screening, a criminal background check, an MVR review where applicable, and a job-related physical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect machines for operational issues or damage.
