About The Position

Wood Shed Lumber & Hardware Supply is hiring dependable, hardworking individuals to join their yard and delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and seeing the results of their work. No prior lumberyard experience is necessary, as the company is willing to train individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, and a desire to learn. The position offers the opportunity to gain experience in building materials, equipment operation, inventory management, and daily lumberyard operations.

Nice To Haves

• A Missouri Class E license (for positions involving deliveries)
• Previous lumberyard, construction, agricultural, or warehouse experience

Responsibilities

• Helping customers load lumber, building materials, and other purchases
• Pulling and preparing orders for pickup or delivery
• Receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments
• Operating forklifts and other equipment (training provided)
• Keeping the lumberyard and warehouse clean, safe, and organized
• Assisting with deliveries and inventory when needed
• Working with teammates to keep daily operations running smoothly
