About The Position

The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property. The role maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure equipment meets established specifications. The Yard Associate also inspects equipment before and after rental to document lost or damaged equipment. This position offers a fast-paced, safety-focused workplace and potential advancement into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers in writing and orally.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused approach.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting 50 pounds or more, and to work indoors or outdoors as required.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment.
• Bilingual ability in Spanish or another language, which may be required based on location needs.
