About The Position

Yard Associates help achieve world-class store performance while contributing to and supporting the overall branch strategy, performance, and growth. They organize products for deliveries to job sites and help maintain the overall organization of the branch. The role also includes assisting customers with product selection and supporting branch leadership in implementing new technologies and ways of working.

Starting pay depends on factors such as location and experience and will meet or exceed applicable state and local minimum wage laws. SiteOne offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to benefit-eligible associates. Most branches never work Sundays.

Requirements

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis.
• Have a safety-minded work ethic.
• Be customer-focused and an enthusiastic, dependable team player.
• Be ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working.

Nice To Haves

• Green industry experience and familiarity with landscape, hardscape, nursery, forestry, or irrigation products.
• Experience operating equipment such as a forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from incoming trucks.
• Load products into outbound customer and company vehicles.
• Replenish or move product at the branch as directed.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide additional support when needed.
• Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to positively impact business performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
