About The Position

The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location’s property. The role maintains a written maintenance schedule and may service equipment as necessary to ensure equipment meets specifications. The Yard Associate also inspects equipment before and after rental to document lost or damaged equipment. The position involves working in a safety-focused, fast-paced environment and may provide opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• General mechanical aptitude.
• Safety-focused approach.
• Bilingual ability (Spanish or another language) may be required based on location needs.
• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, reach, and lift 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors when required by the job.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in mechanical equipment repair preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
