The Production Supervisor (SAM-4) provides senior-level oversight of aircraft maintenance operations in direct support of the 89th Airlift Wing’s executive airlift mission. This role serves as the Andrews Support Division's and 89tl'Maintenance Group Commander's focal point for managing and coordinating assigned Boeing and Gulfstream aircraft logistical support programs. The position acts as a central liaison between the division and designated Contractor Operated and Maintained Base Supply (COMBS) organizations on Andrews AFB, coordinating the requisition of Government-furnished items and managing applicable Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) contracts. The role synchronizes mission requirements with program manager long and short-term maintenance action plans to satisfy contract requirements governed by Executive Airlift Performance Work Statement Yankee White standards. The Production Supervisor attends logistics planning meetings, assures integrated logistics and maintenance plans effectively support the fleet, and closely monitors the requisition of Government-furnished items. This position oversees aircraft configuration and availability according to contractual standards, works with customers and internal sections to coordinate workloads and resources, and acts as the primary liaison between special mission YW assigned aircraft, production supervisors, assigned workers, and DOM to synchronize aircraft configuration needs and deliverables. The role nominalizes program manpower inputs and expenditures to balance financial requirements, ensures aircraft interiors are meticulously cleaned, blemish-free, sanitized, and fully functional, and guarantees the integrity of all YW program data. The Production Supervisor prepares and delivers periodic and ad-hoc reports on program statuses and provides leadership with research, integration, and response to official reports and inquiries.
