About The Position

The Deputy Music Director works with the music director and WXAV music committee to develop a monthly A-List and specialty music A-List, listens to all new music to check lyrics and edit for compliance with FCC and WXAV rules and regulations. Requirements

• MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY
• Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
• Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter

• Background in Communication preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with events, promotions, and giveaway and complies the weekly NACC charts.
• Assists in maintaining both the physical and digital library.
• Arranges interviews and concerts tickets to hard rock and hip-hop acts.
• Evaluates various student broadcasts, to ensure that FCC rules and regulations are met, and to offer feedback on the DJ’s program.
• Assists in planning, and promoting of promotional events.
• Is a member of the Student Media Street Team.
