The Writing Center Coordinator provides leadership and administrative oversight for the Northeast State Writing Center, coordinating services that support the development of writing, research, and communication skills for students across all instructional modalities. The Coordinator manages the daily operations of the Writing Center, supervises tutors, develops training programs, collaborates with faculty and academic divisions, and assesses the effectiveness of Writing Center services to improve student success. The Coordinator promotes best practices in writing instruction, academic support, and college readiness while fostering a culture that values writing across the curriculum. In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Coordinator teaches six (6) credit hours annually to remain actively engaged in instruction and support institutional teaching and learning initiatives. The Coordinator reports to the Dean of Humanities.
