•$65,600 - $92,675

About The Position

The Writer Marketing RFP creates and submits proposals responding to RFPs, along with related documents, for clients across corporations, government, education, healthcare, and Taft-Hartley organizations. The role is expected to manage the proposal process independently, from strategy development and content gathering through writing, editing, and preparing proposals and qualification documents. The position handles primarily above-average and complex projects, while also supporting simpler projects as volume requires. It collaborates with sales colleagues, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to develop tailored responses, contribute to process improvements and special projects, and help maintain proposal content and tracking systems. The role may also review work and mentor junior proposal team members. The posting describes Empower as offering a flexible work environment, fluid career paths, and a welcoming, inclusive culture that values purpose, well-being, work-life balance, and community volunteering. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship is not available. Remote or hybrid employees must have reliable high-speed wired internet and a suitable home workspace, and may be required to work in the office if those requirements are not met.
