About The Position

Calvary Chapel High School, a Christ-centered private high school competing in the CIF Southern Section, is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Head Coach to lead its wrestling program. The ideal candidate is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the mat, integrating faith and character formation with competitive excellence. This role requires adherence to the vision and values of CCCM, including its Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct, and modeling a Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle. The coach will be expected to model a growing relationship with Christ, lead prayer and team devotions, and build a healthy, competitive team culture focused on character, teamwork, and perseverance.

Requirements

Demonstrated success coaching wrestling at the high school or collegiate level.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Commitment to discipleship and mentoring student-athletes.

Responsibilities

Plan and lead practices, manage game strategy, and mentor athletes.
Manage team budget.
Communicate clearly with players, parents, and staff.
Organize all aspects of the season, including tournaments, facilities, and logistics.
Uphold CIF-SS rules, school policies, and student-athlete safety.
