About The Position

The Wrap Machine Operator ensures proper slicing, handling, and packaging of products according to quality and schedule standards. The role requires demonstrating competency in on-the-job activities that may directly or indirectly affect product safety, legality, or quality. The operator sets up and adjusts machinery for different products, verifies product coding and labeling, checks that products meet quality and packaging standards before shipping, replenishes packaging supplies, and maintains a clean work area. The position also requires compliance with company policies and procedures and performing other duties as directed by supervision.

Demonstrated competency in on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, or quality.

Six months or more of related production experience.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery and make adjustments to accommodate each product according to standards.
Ensure correct product coding and/or labeling of each product.
Ensure that products meet quality and packaging standards before shipping.
Replenish wrap and packaging supplies as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules.
Perform other duties as directed by supervision.
Fulfill work schedules and adhere to attendance policies and other applicable operating rules, policies, and procedures.
