About The Position

RestorixHealth is seeking a full-time Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide patient care using the Nursing Process and evidence-based practice. The RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates care to achieve optimal patient outcomes, collaborates with other disciplines on the assigned unit, prioritizes nursing actions, and accurately implements physician orders within appropriate time frames. The role includes educating and counseling patients and families about wound care. Wound care training is provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required for Magnet Hospitals.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Prior experience with billing and coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in patients’ conditions and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions to reflect patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
