About The Position

RestorixHealth is hiring a full-time Wound Care Registered Nurse to provide patient care for people with wounds. Using the Nursing Process, the RN plans, implements, directs, and evaluates care to achieve optimal outcomes. The nurse works collaboratively with other disciplines on the assigned unit, prioritizes nursing actions, and accurately implements physician orders within appropriate time frames. Ongoing training is provided, including for wound care.

Requirements

• Associate degree in nursing.
• Valid Registered Nursing license.
• Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required for Magnet Hospitals.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience working with wound care patients; training will be provided.
• Prior experience with billing and coding is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on scientific principles, nursing theory, and evidence-based practice.
• Recognize changes in a patient's condition and intervene appropriately.
• Prioritize nursing actions based on patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes.
• Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames.
• Educate and counsel patients and their families about wound care processes and issues.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on the assigned unit.
• Plan, implement, direct, and evaluate patient care using the Nursing Process.
